Thank you for your interest in pitching a book for review consideration at leaf + letter. Below you'll find the genres I prefer, the formats I accept, and other helpful details. Please also take a look at my about page and my review archives to get a feel for who I am and what I read.
Please note: Each book is accepted for review consideration only. I only accept books I am interested in and feel I can read and review in a timely manner.
Genres
I love: literary fiction, short story, essay and poetry collections, non-fiction (especially food and food policy, wine, art history, war, Italian culture and history, French culture and history, travel narratives, psychology, sociology, language, linguistics, and writing).
I don't love: young adult fiction, romance, science fiction, chick lit, fantasy, horror, or self-help.
Formats
I will review ARCS, finished copies of books, and eBooks compatible with Kindle. I do not accept self-published books.
I try to review every book I accept in a timely manner (and, if part of a blog tour, on the agreed upon date). However, I am also a full time attorney so I can not make specific time commitments for posts.
Exposure
I will post an honest review of the book here and on Goodreads. I will also tweet a link to my posts.
